Getting to St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg is one of the most popular touristic city in Russia, called “North Capital” (the official capital is Moscow). It is very well connected to Moscow, Baltic States and Scandinavian countries. The conference will be held at the 'Moscow' hotel which is situated in the city centre. You can reach the city:
By plane:
Pulkovo Airport (IATA: LED | ICAO: ULLI) serves a wide variety of destinations both international and domestic. Terminal 1 serves domestic flights, selected international charter flights and low-cost airlines, while Terminal 2 is reserved for international connections. The airport is located approximately 17 kilometers south from the city center.
From the airport to the city (Pulkovo-II terminal):

By train:
You can reach St. Petersburg from Helsinki, Moscow, and many European cities. You can book the tickets at the http://www.russianrails.com/ or http://www.waytorussia.net/ websites.
Most of the trains come to the railway station “Moskovskiy vokzal” (trains from Moscow and Berlin), “Finliandskii vokzal” (“Allegro” train from Helsinki) and “Ladozhsky vokzal” (other trains from Helsinki).
By bus:
You can reach the city by bus from Estonia (Tallinn), Finland (Helsinki), Latvia (Riga) with Eurolines LUX Express buses or regular buses from Helsinki.
By ship:
There are regular ferry services provided by St. Peter Line from St. Petersburg to Stockholm and Helsinki. International passenger ferries leave from the passenger port Marine Facade. Address: Ul. Nevskoi Gubi, 1D. tel.: +7 (812) 303-67-40.

The main roads into the city are M10-E18 from Helsinki to Moscow and the M11 from Berlin via Poland.
Traffic drives on the right, speed limits are 60 kph (37 mph) in the city, 90 kph (56 mph) in outlying areas and 110 kph (68 mph) on highways. It is illegal to turn left on many main thoroughfares. Using seat belts is mandatory in the front and back of the vehicle.

The ane way ticket price is 25 rubbles. You can also get a card with several trips and discount.
Duration of trip to the hotel from “Moskovskaya” station (closest to the airport) is about 25 minutes. The route is following: from metro station “Moskovskaya” (Blue line) in the direction of “Parnas” station. Change at “Sennaya ploschad” station to the station “Spasskaya” (Orange line), direction to the “Ulitsa Dybenko” station. Way out at “Ploshchad` Alexandra Nevskogo - 2” station. Change to the “Ploshchad` Alexandra Nevskogo - 1” station, lift up street and turn left – you will reach the hotel “Moscow” main entrance.
